| in high school i had originally intended to go to school to become a pastry chef. despite my love of pretty desserts, i realized that i did not enjoy being in a hot kitchen all day. i decided that i would use my love of special effects and attend the art institute of ft. lauderdale for computer animation. i then found that i wasn't going to be the next george lucas, so i changed my major to graphic design and have loved it ever since. i was nominated for best portfolio and graduated with a bachelor's degree. i have worked in several agencies and decided to go freelance in 2003 so that i would have more freedom with my "night owl" hours of inspiration. i now work with many local and national businesses doing jobs such as identity design, posters, annual reports, brochures, calendars, t-shirts, cd/dvd design, photo retouching and more.
